Givelify – Mobile Giving App
Instructions
With Givelify you can give anytime and anywhere. You do not have to wait until Sunday to bring your tithes or offerings. Here are some instructions for downloading the Givelify App to your Android or I-Phone.
- Download the Givelify App from the Apple or Google Play store on your phone.
- Open the Apple or Play Store on your phone and type Givelify in the search area. Click Install to install the app. Once the app is installed, click Open to begin using Givelify.
- Sign up and create a Username and Password.
- You can use your Facebook account to sign into Givelify or use your Email address to create an account and sign in. You will need an email account to sign into Givelify and receive receipts.
- Find Greater New Hope Baptist Church, 4955 Highway 80 East, Selma, Al 36703.
- Enable your location by clicking the “Let’s Go” button in the app. This is needed to quickly locate organizations in your area. You can search for the organization by name. Type Greater New Hope in the search area until you see our church listed. You should see a picture of the Church and Pastor Blunt.
- Tap the "Give" link.
- You can choose a preset amount or click other to give the amount of your choice. You can also choice the fund you want to give to: Tithes, Offering or Other.
- Add your payment information.
- You will be prompted to add your payment information. This can be a debit or credit card. There are no fees to you for using a debit or credit card. You will only be billed the amount you give. You can save this information in Givelify so that it will be available the next time you give. You can always go to your Profile in Givelify to modify or delete any information. We suggest that you add a picture to your profile to make it easier for us to know who gave.
- Once you complete the payment setup, tap "Tap Give Now".
- You should receive a message stating that your payment was successful and receive a receipt for your payment. You will also receive an email receipt. Our church secretary will record your contribution the same as if you contributed using a Tithe envelope.
